01 What documents should I bring with me to my first appointment?

    Bring a valid proof of insurance (e.g. the insurance card) with you. Please bring all the documents that you have been given regarding your current illness/desired treatment. If you have previous illnesses relevant to treatment (e.g. blood clotting disorders), please bring the most recent doctor's letters and If you take medication regularly, please bring your medication schedule with you


 

02 Will I be operated on directly on the day of the first visit?

    Generally not. An exception are acute cases, e.g. B. Bleeding, severe pain or suppuration At the first appointment it is usually determined whether the planned intervention will take place on an outpatient or inpatient basis due to the type or your individual risk situation. It is also determined whether the respective intervention will be carried out under local or general anesthesia at the same time a written and oral treatment explanation, as well as the planning

03 What should I do before an operation under local anesthesia

    In the case of treatment under local anesthetic, you may eat and drink as usual before the procedure.
